We think, we do, we strive,
to be happy, healthy, and wise.
Each day is a journey,
becoming self-actualized.

1 Feeling or showing pleasure or contentment.

1 In a good physical or mental condition; in good health.

1 Having or showing experience, knowledge, and good judgement.

Hey, how's it going?

My name is P.K. and if you're reading this, you've stumbled upon my humble corner of the Internet, selfactual.com

What is Self Actual? It's a self-actualization themed blog, featuring content to guide your life's path towards deep fulfillment and the realization of your true potential.

Self Actual is a place for truth-seekers and introspective thinkers, for risk-takers and experience-chasers.

Our core values at Self Actual are happiness, health, and wisdom. We take responsibility for our lives, even especially when our lives are tough, commanding the very best for ourselves and those we care about.

The story behind the blog: Self-actualization became a vital concept to me when a series of traumatic incidents in my early adulthood sent me into a spiralling depression. It was an awful experience and when I finally recovered, I knew I had to share what I'd learned along the way.

I'd never presume to know all the answers or to have achieved self-actualization personally, but if any of the content on this site helps you find a little happiness or clarity, my purpose is fulfilled.

If you'd like to learn more of my personal story, you're welcome to read that here.

Otherwise, please jump right in and browse articles, peruse the shop, connect with Self Actual on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, or get in contact with me personally.

Happy self-actualizing and thanks for stopping by 🙂
